Teaching crafts at an adult education school has brought me countless rewarding moments over these last years. At the same time, it requires a significant investment of energy in organizing, preparing, managing, and attentively guiding my students in creating pieces that are both beautiful and flawless. Because of this, I have dedicated less time to tell stories with my hands and connect with the magic of gemstones, yarns, and pearls…
During my craft classes, I was deeply moved by the presence and enthusiasm of the women who joined me week after week. Together, we explored the art of creating with our hands (whether through unique crochet accessories or the art of jewellery making). In these moments, we created a space of resonance that was palpable and powerful.
Learning crochet or artisan jewellery making is not just about mastering techniques; it’s about sharing culture, tradition, and well-being. Creating with your hands is also about creating with your heart ❤.
